Description

Carbon nanotubes (CNTs), tubes of nanometer diameter, have exceptional properties and promising technological applications including in electronics. Different permutations and combination of mechanical, electrical, or chemical properties can be obtained by controlling the structure and surface chemistry and topography of these carbon-based nanomaterials.
In this book, carbon nanotube materials, their range of properties from semiconductors, metals, and dielectrics, and fabrication methods, are introduced as well as their current and potential applications in electronics.

Rashad Gabil Abaszade, Ph.D., is associate professor at the department of electronics and automations at Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University, Baku, Azerbaijan. Dr. Abaszade received the degree of physical electronics (Bachelor) from Baku State University (2003), Optoelectronics (Master) from Baku State University (2006), and PhD in physics in 2018. He is an expert in the design of various nanoelements (negatrons, diodes, capacitors and transistors) established on graphene-based materials. His research works are carried out in collaboration with scientific centers in the USA, Germany, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Turkey, Russia, Ukraine, Hungary, England, China, Italy and India.

A. K. Haghi, Ph.D. is a retired professor and has written, co-written, edited, or co-edited more than 1000 publications, including books, book chapters, and papers in refereed journals with over 4200 citations and h-index of 34, according to the Google Scholar database. Professor Haghi holds a BSc in urban and environmental engineering from the University of North Carolina (USA) and holds two MSc degrees, one in mechanical engineering from North Carolina State University (USA) and another one in applied mechanics, acoustics, and materials from the Université de Technologie de Compiègne (France). He was awarded a PhD in engineering sciences at Université de Franche-Comté (France). He is a regular reviewer of leading international journals.
