Dr. Catherine Gallais has a doctorate in Anthropology, Sociology, and Gender Studies and specialises in fatherhood and masculinities. She is an associate member of the research unit Laboratoire interdisciplinaire en études culturelles (LinCS – UMR 7069) and a lecturer at the University of Strasbourg in France. Her scholarly interests are centered on issues of social justice, intersectionality, race and racism, practices of care and embodiment, always in relation to men, masculinities, and fatherhood. She has published book chapters and journal articles on men, masculinities, and care.
